The IHSAA announced boys basketball substate brackets for Classes 3A and 4A Monday.
Hampton-Dumont-CAL is the 8-seed in Substate 3, and will play a first round game at #1 (3A) Clear Lake on Monday, February 24. The winner will advance to take on either 4-seed Center Point-Urbana or 5-seed Vinton-Shellsburg.
In the other half of the bracket, 2-seed Solon will host Benton and 3-seed Nevada will host Webster City in the first round.
