The Iowa Falls School Board last week held a regular business meeting and reviewed the current budget and the impact of losing so many students concerning the certified enrollment number.
The Iowa Falls board approved the budget guarantee resolution to gain 1 percent on their funding for next year. However, the impact of declining enrollment will be felt 2 and 3 years out.
The school board then approved various position reductions, which almost all will be through attrition.
In other business, the Iowa Falls School Board approved moving forward to replace a portion of the Rock Run Elementary School roof.
