The Grundy Center City Council Monday approved on the first reading an ordinance amendment to increase the garbage collection fee to $15 per month per canister.
The current garbage collection fee is $14 per month.
The Grundy Center council also awarded a three year contract with Precision Lawn Care as the city’s Parks Property Management firm.
