The Clarksville City Council Monday night set March 25th at 6pm as the date and time to hold a public hearing to consider the general fund tax levy for fiscal year 2026.
The Clarksville council discussed employee wages, with many council members stating support for at least a 3 percent increase in wages, with some looking at up to 5 percent.
No action was taken by the city council on the matter.
The Clarksville City Council also received several department updates, including from the library, which will be holding a Paper Roller Coaster Competition that will feature 11 other schools coming to the library to participate.
