The IHSAA Boys Wrestling State Tournament will begin Wednesday inside Wells Fargo Arena.
First and second round action for all classes will take place Wednesday. Each wrestler is guaranteed advancement to Thursday. Locally, Jariyah Bowles of AGWSR will compete at 138 pounds in Class 1A, which will start at 1:30 p.m. His matches will air on 99 The Wave.
The Class 2A session will start at 6:00, with coverage airing on 104.9 KLMJ. 27 local student-athletes from AP/GC, BCLUW-SH, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, Dike-New Hartford, Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Iowa Falls-Alden will compete in that session.
