
The North Butler boys basketball team will look to track down an upset to keep their season alive as they visit #4 (1A) Saint Edmond for a Class 1A District 4 semifinal on Thursday. This will be the first ever meeting between the programs in the Bound Era.
North Butler (8-14) advanced with a down to the wire 38-36 win at Nashua-Plainfield in district quarterfinal on Monday. The Bearcats ability to establish offensive rhythm starts with interior play shooting 39.5 percent from the field. Brody Wangsness had 13 points and Ryan Austin had 11 points in the Bearcats win over the Huskies.

St.Edmond (19-3) advanced with a 69-36 win at home over AGWSR in district quarterfinal on Monday. The Gaels offensive efficiency runs through constant ball movement with 15 assists per game. Hunter Horn has been core to the Gaels success this season with 24 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
Action begins at 7:00 p.m. in Fort Dodge.
