Six local wrestlers have advanced to Saturday’s Class 2A consolation finals session of the IHSAA Wrestling State Tournament.
Advanced to consolation semifinals:
113 – Kolbe Hansen, Iowa Falls-Alden
2A-120 – Linden Phetxoumphone, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows
Advanced to seventh place matches:
113 – Carl Shew, North Butler-Clarksville
126 – Adrian Phetxoumphone, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows
175 – Charlie Campbell, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows
215 – Trevor Bailey, Iowa Falls-Alden
The consolation semifinals, seventh place, fifth place and third place matches for all classes will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Saturday. Local matches before 10:00 will air on 99 The Wave, and the others will air on 104.9 KLMJ.
