Here’s an update on the search for a new Superintendent in the Grundy Center School District.
District officials say following a strong response to the position, 15 candidates applied, including five from out of state.
Tuesday the Grundy Center School Board will hold a special meeting and will conduct screening interviews with five selected candidates in a closed session.
March 12th the formal interviews will occur with the finalists, involving board members and designated interview teams.
Current Grundy Center Superintendent Robert Hughes is leaving at the end of the current school year. The new superintendent will take over on July 1st.
