Beginning Wednesday, weather permitting, crews will close the on-ramp for northbound Interstate 35 and the off-ramp for southbound I-35 at Exit 193 so bridge work in the outside lanes of the interstate can take place.
This is on the southeast side of Clear Lake.
A detour will be in place during this time.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says the ramp closures and detour routes are expected to be in place through Memorial Day, or May 26th.
