Iowa Falls-Alden alum and South Dakota freshman Jaden Damiano was one of 25 Coyote student-athletes to earn Summit League Indoor Track & Field All-Conference recognition.
At last week’s conference meet at South Dakota State, Damiano ran 7.99 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles preliminary race to qualify for the finals. In the finals, he finished in a personal-best 7.81 seconds to place second. That mark is the third-fastest in South Dakota program history.
Damiano and the Coyotes will open the outdoor season on Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28. The squad will split up among the Clyde Littlefield Relays hosted by Texas, the Bobcat Invitational at Texas State, and the Wildcat Classic at Wayne State.
