The 3rd and final spring flood outlook was issued by the National Weather Service Office in Des Moines this week.

The risk of minor, moderate and major flooding is near to below normal.

Future weather, especially when you include the amount, frequency and extent of precipitation, can be big factors in the spring flood threat.

River levels are near normal, and the frost has been coming out of the ground.
