This week the Clarksville City Council approved a 4 percent wage increase for the city employees for the next fiscal year which begins July 1st.
The Clarksville council approved to have a city wide clean up event, with the dates to be determined.
The Clarksville City Council also discussed the mileage reimbursement rate, but took no action until additional information will be gathered by the city clerk on what surrounding towns are doing.
