H-D School Board sets several public hearings for April

The Hampton-Dumont Education Association presented their initial proposal for negotiations during the Hampton-Dumont School Board meeting held Monday.

The education association is proposing a 48-hundred dollar universal increase to all certified staff salaries and an increase of $1,350 to the Generator Base Salary on Schedule “D” for 2025-26.  The proposed total package increase was 6-point-88 percent.

The H-D School Board took the proposal under advisement.

In other business, the board set several public hearings for April 28th including for the next fiscal year budget, and for the 2025-26 school year calendar.
