Local girls track & field teams competed at Thursday’s North Iowa Indoor Championships at Clear Lake. In the team standings, Iowa Falls-Alden placed 12th, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows was 13th and Hampton-Dumont-CAL was 14th. Top local placewinners:

Alivia Tupper – 4th in shot put
The same local schools will compete at Friday’s North Iowa Indoor Championships, which’ll start at 4:00 p.m.
