The Iowa Department of Transportation is reporting that a scam is circulating that involves text messages.
The messages include that you owe money from unpaid tolls, but it’s a scam, because Iowa does not have toll bridges.
Don’t click on the text link, and remember, the Iowa DOT will never text you saying you owe money for unpaid tolls.
