Butler County Engineer John Riherd Tuesday updated the board of supervisors on work taking place around the county.
Riherd says they have 5 sites identified for bridge replacements throughout the county.
Precast panels for the work will be provided by Rinker Materials of Iowa Falls.
In addition, rock hauling has begun, for coming out of winter maintenance as crews shape the gravel roads for spring.
