The Clarion Fire Department Tuesday around 3:25pm was called out on the report of a house on fire at 15-25 Lee Avenue northwest of the city. No injuries reported.
When firefighters arrived, the front door area was on fire, and the floor on the inside of the one story home had completely burned through.
The house is considered to be a total loss. Firefighters were on the scene for 3 hours.
The cause is under investigation.
Assisting agencies were the Belmond Fire Department, Wright County Sheriff’s Department, and Clarion Ambulance.
