The Hampton-Dumont-CAL boys track & field team earned a sixth place finish at Tuesday’s Gilbert Coed Invitational. Top five finishes:
Colin Bird – 1st in 400 hurdles
4×400 – 3rd
Brady Harr – 4th in discus
4×100 – 4th
4×200 – 4th
Distance medley – 4th
Beau Morton – 5th in shot put
They’ll return to action Thursday at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows.

The girls tennis team fell 7-2 at home to Iowa Falls-Alden. The wins were by Ashley Chipahua at #2 singles and Yesi Valenzuela at #5 singles. Their next meet will be Thursday at Clear Lake.
The boys tennis team fell 8-1 at Iowa Falls-Alden. Andyn White recorded the win at #1 singles. Their next action will be Thursday against Clear Lake at home.
