Wednesday the Iowa Valley Community College District Board of Directors approved the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost for the IVCCD Ellsworth Wall Hall Demo Construction Project at 1100 College Avenue in Iowa Falls.
The bid opening will take place May 8th at 1pm, with the bid approval scheduled for May 14th.
In other business, the IVCCD Board of Directors approved an Accelerated Career Education Program Agreement with Alliant Energy in support of the expansion of the Natural Gas Technician program.
This agreement could provide IVCCD with up to $29,120 a year for five years to enhance workforce training in this high-demand field.
