Saturday about 3:20am, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department was called out on the report of a single vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of 105th Street and Nettle Avenue, or just northwest of Sheffield.
First Responders located a single vehicle, rollover accident in a farm field on the north side of 105th Street. The vehicle was unoccupied and the driver and a passenger were later found at a nearby residence.
A 17-year-old male juvenile, and 19-year-old Austin Altick of Dougherty, were treated for their minor injuries by paramedics.
Altick was charged with a first offense OWI.
Assisting agencies were the Iowa State Patrol, Mason City Fire Department, and Sheffield EMS.
