Monday night in Eldora, the Eldora-New Providence School Board approved the district’s 2025-26 certified budget with a tax levy rate of $13.65 per one thousand dollars of assessed property value.
The E-NP board approved accepting the donation of the renovation of the current field house, new field house construction, and new lighting for the football and track facility from the South Hardin Athletic Boosters.
The Eldora-New Providence School Board also discussed being notified by EMC Insurance that the company will no longer cover the E-NP Elementary Gym after June 30th.
The board discussed options of either selling the property or taking the gym down once the district can move into the new gym at the end of October. No action was taken by the school board.
