The Grundy Center School Board will meet Wednesday.
They’ll start with a public hearing on the 2025-2026 school calendar and consider approval.
During the regular meeting, they’ll consider a special education service plan, view a certified budget presentation, and consider board policy changes.
After considering contracts and letters of agreement for certified staff, classified staff and principals/directors, they’ll dissolve an operational sharing agreement for a counselor with Aplington-Parkersburg, and consider one with BCLUW. They’ll also consider several construction related items, including a commons restroom quote, elementary lunchroom flooring, elementary geothermal heat controller, and carpet replacement quotes, among other items.
Regarding personnel as part of the consent agenda, they’ll consider the resignation of Brent Thoren as the head boys basketball coach.
The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m. at the administration building.
