
The latest Iowa Housing Report was released by the Iowa REALTORS organization for the month of March.
From a monthly standpoint, new listings for single family homes jumped 37-point-9 percent, from the 28-hundred new listings in February.
Median sales price increased 6-point-2 percent from last year’s metrics to 239-thousand dollars.
Perhaps the clearest sign that the housing market is picking up is the dramatic shift in days on the market. Homes spending a median of 12 days on the market in March, is a 45-point-6 percent drop from the 22 days recorded in February.
