Last week the Thornton City Council approved the city’s next fiscal year budget which begins on July 1st.
In other business, the Thornton council discussed the property at 216 Main Street, and decided to put the property up for sale. Bids will be accepted at city hall through May 2nd.
The Thornton council was informed that the city now has possession of the properties at 312, 316 and 320 Main Street.
The council also discussed the Alliant Energy Tree Planting Program, a generator project, and remediation of the Community Catalyst Building.
