Tuesday night the Alden City Council approved the city’s next fiscal year budget. The property tax levy will not be going up and will remain within one cent of the current property tax levy rate.
The Alden council voted to honor the city’s Food Pantry Board as the Citizens of the Year for Alden Days to be held in June.
The council also voted to honor Duane and LaVonne Hoversten as the Grand Marshalls for Alden Days.
