The Wright County girls soccer team (0-3-2) will be on the hunt for their first win of the season when they host Charles City on Thursday, on 104.9 KLMJ.
Wright County, last time out, trailed 2-0 at the half and rallied with two second half goals to force a 2-2 tie at home against Webster City on Tuesday. Jocelyn Gonzalez and Nazaria Matul each netted a goal apiece in the match. Goalkeeper Angelica Gonzalez had six saves on eight shots attempted.
Charles City (2-3) won 7-2 over Hampton-Dumont-CAL on Tuesday. Neveah Bloker leads the Comets with seven goals. Goalkeeper Kayla Streich has 29 saves to 13 goals allowed.
Coverage will begin at 5:20 p.m. followed by the kickoff at 5:30 p.m. in Belmond.
The Belmond-Klemme girls and boys track and field teams are scheduled to compete at Panther Coed Relays at Knoxville on Thursday. The meet will begin at 4:30 p.m.
