Several Hampton-Dumont-CAL spring sports teams will be in action Thursday.
The boys tennis team will look to put together its first win streak of the season when they host Osage for a non-conference dual. The Bulldogs are coming off a 7-2 win over Webster City Tuesday. Action will start at 4:15 at Progress Park.
The boys track & field team, coming off a fourth place finish at Monday’s home meet, will return to action at the South Hamilton Hawk Relays. It’ll start at 4:30.
The soccer teams will play their first games in over a week when they host Clear Lake. The girls (0-5-1, 0-4 NCC) have battled through being shorthanded, but have stepped up their offense with three goals in the last two games. Clear Lake (5-2-1, 3-1-1 NCC) is coming off Monday’s 5-0 win over Wright County.
The boys soccer team (3-1-2, 3-1 NCC) will look to build on last week’s 3-1 win over Garner Hayfield Ventura. Clear Lake (4-4-1, 2-2-1 NCC) has won three straight, including 3-0 over Wright County Monday. The winner will be in second place in the conference standings. The doubleheader will start at 5:30.
