
The Hardin County Board of Supervisors Wednesday approved the next fiscal year budget.
As part of the budgeting process, the Hardin supervisors debated recommendations made by the county compensation board concerning the salaries of the county ‘s elected officials.
The Hardin County Board of Supervisors approved a 2 percent increase for the positions of county attorney, auditor, treasurer, recorder, and sheriff.
The supervisors will receive a 1 percent increase in pay, while the board chairperson will also receive a 1-thousand dollar stipend.
