The North Butler girls track and field team placed seventh with 32 points at Nashua-Plainfield invite on Thursday.
Top performers:
1st in 100m hurdles, Alexis Rose
2nd in shuttle hurdle relay, Laney Brinkman, Claire McCandless, Alexis Rose and Mackenzie Shultz – 1:14.98 (New Meet Record)
3rd in distance medley relay
Their next meet is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at Dike-New Hartford.
The boys golf team finished first with 161 strokes at a quad hosted by Rockford on Thursday. Nolan Reser was the medalist for the Bearcats with a round of 38. They are scheduled to return to the course for triangular at Central Springs on Monday.
The girls golf team finished second with 204 strokes at Rockford on Thursday. Zoey Thompson was the medalist with a 42 and Amelia Thompson was the runner-up with a score of 44 for the Bearcats. They are scheduled to return to the course at Nashua-Plainfield quad on Friday. Tee off is at 4:15 p.m.
The boys track and field team will host its annual meet in Greene on Friday. Last time out the Bearcats placed third at Belmond-Klemme on Tuesday. Top finishers at the Bronco Relays included Clayton Towsley in the 200m (1st), Ezra Almelien in 1600m (2nd), Kamdon Boos in 110m hurdles (2nd), Tucker Pecha in 400m hurdles (2nd), 4×800 (1st), 4×200 (2nd), sprint medley relay (2nd). The meet begins at 4:30 p.m.
