New superintendent named for the Hampton-Dumont District

The Hampton-Dumont School Board has named Tim Felderman as the district’s next superintendent.

Felderman has 18 years of leadership experience as a secondary principal and has served as the high school principal at West Delaware since 2015.

As an administrator, he has focused on fostering a culture of instructional excellence through teaching methodologies, professional development, and collaboration with educators and community leaders.  He is the School Administrators of Iowa president elect for 2025-26.

Felderman will officially begin his new job July 1st, taking over for current superintendent Aaron Becker, who is leaving at the end of this school year.
