The Aplington-Parkersburg School Board approved two head coach hires at its meeting Monday.
Jason Berkey will serve as the new boys track & field coach. He’s also the high school’s Activities Director and previously served as the head cross country coach.
Travis Walker was named the new head softball coach. He was an assistant under previous head coach Emily Williamson. It’s his second stint as a head coach in the district, having previously served as the head baseball coach in the 2010s.
