The bike trail project in Eldora is slated to make the connection from the current Iowa River’s Edge Trail to the Pine Lake State Park trail.
The Eldora City Council recently awarded the contract for the work to Valentine Construction at a bid of $385,885.90.
The estimated cost of the project was $531,503.
There were a total of 11 bidders.
