The Belmond City Council this week received information from City Manager Cody Nicholas concerning new stickers to go along with the golf cart registration and renewals.
The new sticker will help police officers determine which golf carts in town have registered or renewed their license with city hall.
The Belmond City Council also approved a lease for surgical equipment for the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond.
This lease was to update equipment for laparoscopic surgery.
It is a 24 month lease with the total principal amount of about 320-thousand dollars.
