The Rowan City Council this week discussed a few changes to the previous contract with the Iowa River Players, including requiring them to supply the city with an insurance certificate on an annual basis.
In addition, the Iowa River Players must make their part of the building accessible for the city’s insurance company. That company will have loss control individuals on site during their annual inspection. The Rowan council then approved the contract.
The Iowa River Players Theatre is located at 901 Broadway Street on the northeast side of Rowan.
