“It was just super fun, it wasn’t really about winning, it was just about getting out there one last time and playing with some new people, meeting new friends, and that’s what we did,” Schultz says. “I felt like we just all had really good chemistry in the 40-minute practice that we had, and then it just kind of transferred over to the game, and we were just laughing, and it was just really fun atmosphere.”
Each team had a short practice in the morning, followed by the games and some award ceremonies.
Klooster says she feels the senior class played a key role in keeping the Falcons prominent throughout their careers.
“I was really happy that I got to be a part of a program like this,” Klooster says. “So I’m super glad that I was allowed to do that and just be who I am, and meet a lot of new friends, which is really exciting. So yeah, I’ll definitely miss it.”
