The Hancock County Board of Supervisors this week considered the county compensation board’s recommendations on the salaries of the county’s elected officials and voted to reduce those recommendations by 20 percent.
This will be for each of three supervisor positions, along with the county sheriff, treasurer, auditor, recorder, and county attorney.
The Hancock supervisors also approved the county’s next fiscal year budget.
