NIACC officials say they have received a generous donation of a UR 10 collaborative robot, or cobot, from Stellar Industries valued at 130-thousand dollars. The cobot will be utilized by NIACC’s Industrial Automation and Robotics program. The UR 10 robot will be utilized across all 3 robotics classes at NIACC, allowing students to gain practical skills in coding and operating robots.
This comes at a time when the college is expanding its course offerings in this field.
