Two Grundy Center seniors recently signed with the Central College football team.
Wide receiver/defensive back Tate Jirovsky led the team with four interceptions in 2023. He recorded 37 tackles and recovered a fumble. On offense, he had 30 receptions for 366 yards and six touchdowns.
Running back/linebacker Justin Knaack was the leading rusher with 143 carries for 772 yards and 15 touchdowns. Defensively, he had 39 tackles, including four for loss. He also intercepted two passes.
Both were first team all-state selections in 2023.
