A few years ago, Pilk took over social media. The mix of milk with Pepsi is nothing new. It’s been in pop culture before like on Laverne & Shirley. It got popular again, as people said it tastes like a melted Pepsi float. Now, the dirty Dr. Pepper is making a name for itself. A Dr. Pepper with coconut syrup and lime. Sometimes with the addition of a splash of cream. Its become so popular that even Coffee Mate has made a Dirty Soda Creamer. Of course you can make any soda of choice “dirty” but it seems like Dr. Pepper being the most popular. This I can kind of get behind. The newest trend is Pickles with Dr. Pepper. The large Drive in chain, Sonic, knows exactly what you are talking about when asked for your soda “dirty” but you may have to explain it at other restaurants. Could be fun for a summer birthday or pool party, especially for young kids that like to experiment more with their sodas. For me, I think I’ll pass.
