Over 66 percent of Iowa has no drought conditions listed in this week’s U-S Drought Monitor Report, up from 52-point-54 percent from last week.
This report, which runs through Tuesday, also shows no severe drought conditions listed in the state as well.
Almost 21 percent of Iowa is in a moderate drought while almost 13 percent of the state is listed as being abnormally dry.
In the broadcast area the western one-half of Hancock, southwestern Wright, the southern one-half of Hardin, and most of Grundy County have no drought conditions listed.
