Iowa REALTORS awarded grants to help Iowans displaced by severe storms

The Iowa Association of REALTORS says it has received a 250-thousand dollar grant from the National Association of REALTORS to provide funding for individuals impacted by the severe storms on May 21st to help with their mortgage and rental payments or hotel reimbursements.

In total, IAR has received 400-thousand dollars in grants to provide relief for Iowans impacted by the severe weather this spring.

Under the new grant and in partnership with the REALTORS Relief Foundation, IAR will provide up to 15-hundred dollars in housing relief to displaced individuals who primarily reside in 32 counties including Hancock, Franklin and Butler in the broadcast area.
