The Butler County Board of Supervisors this week approved to increase the compensation for the position of township clerk from 300 to 500 dollars a year.
It is the first time since 2008 that the compensation for this position has been increased.
The Butler supervisors approved a fiscal year 2025 Early Childhood Iowa Fiscal Agent Agreement, and approved a utility permit application from Butler County REC for underground service in the 25-thousand block of 310th Street in the Parkersburg area.
