Today Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds extended a disaster emergency proclamation to an additional 20 counties in northwest and north central Iowa in response to severe storms and flooding that occurred Friday.
Those counties include Wright, Hancock, Cerro Gordo and Floyd in the broadcast area.
The governor’s proclamation allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of this severe weather and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and Disaster Case Advocacy Program.
