Monday night the Hampton City Council held a workshop meeting and reviewed the details of proposed revisions to the city’s code section relating to the seizure, impoundment, and disposition of vicious animals.
Police Chief Mark Morrison will research what other communities require for microchipping vicious animals.
After discussion, the consensus of the Hampton City Council was to have the city attorney do a final review and have the item brought back up at a future meeting.
