Tuesday the Butler County Board of Supervisors received a recommendation from the county EMS Advisory Board to place an issue on the November ballot calling for EMS to become an essential county service.
If approved by the voters, a new EMS levy would be used to help fund ambulance services in Butler County.
The Butler County Board of Supervisors requested to have an attorney review the proposed ballot issue before deciding to have the measure placed on the November 5th ballot.
