Bearcat Head Coach Sarah Goodrich on Newman’s style of play and the benefit of playing in tournaments.
“Newman’s always a great match for us, we know they’re going to be scrappy. They’re going to give it their all, and they’re going to give us a run for our money,” says Goodrich. “Our hope is to come out with the conference dub. Being able to have all those matches on Saturday before is a good spot to see where we’re at. We also had a quick practice Monday before the game. We’re just excited to start our conference matches. We know our conference is tough, so we know that we have to give our best every single day.”
