The Geneva Market helps to fundraise for The Geneva Betterment organization.
Earlier this summer, The Geneva Betterment organization reported the funds collected were exceeding the requests coming in, so a call went out to organizations in Franklin and Hardin Counties that were working to raise funds for a cause or project, to complete an application through The Geneva Betterment organization.
A total of 10 organizations reached out and submitted their applications for funding, and all 10 will receive 1-thousand dollars each. Those organizations include Friends of Beeds Lake, Friends of the Ackley Public Library, and the Sheffield Betterment Foundation.
The Geneva Market will be open for business this weekend on the school grounds, with hours Friday from 10am-7pm, and Saturday from 9am-4pm. Cost is $5 per person, and 12 and under are free.
200 spaces will be filled with a variety of merchandise, along with music, a petting zoo, and food trailers.
