Just over 65 percent of Iowa is listed as being abnormally dry in the latest U-S Drought Monitor Report.
Last week, that number was 43-point-36 percent.
The coverage area of no drought conditions listed went from 56-point-64 to 34-point-91 percent.
A majority of the broadcast area is now listed as being abnormally dry.
