The Hardin County Board of Supervisors Wednesday approved the compensation board plan due to a new state law.
The Hardin County Compensation Board will continue as it has been utilized in the past.
The new state law allows county boards of supervisors to determine how their compensation boards will operate. As of July 1st, the new law ended all county compensation boards.
However, a county compensation board can continue as in the past by a simple majority vote of the board of supervisors.
