Clarksville Police Arrest Shell Rock Man for Credit Card Theft, Meth

Friday at around 5:17 p.m. the Clarksville Police Department made a traffic stop on a vehicle for having a loud exhaust. 

After a brief investigation, the passenger of the vehicle, Dillon Chase of Shell Rock, was arrested on a valid Bremer County warrant for theft. 

In Chase’s possession was a stolen credit card. Officers applied for a search warrant for the vehicle, and later, officers located more stolen credit cards and a large amount of methamphetamine in his possession. 

The incident remains under investigation and more charges are pending for other individuals that may be involved.

Chase posted bond and was released from the Bremer County Jail.
